Operating principles
How Slayz runs the back office
Own The Outcome
Whoever picks up a record sees it through. Status, owner, and next step stay current so nothing stalls between departments.
Default To Clarity
Write for the person on call at 2am. Plain language, one source of truth per fact, no tribal knowledge locked in a head.
Secure By Construction
Access is enforced at the edge, the API, and the database — never in the UI alone. The safe path is the only path.
Respect The Boundary
Departments see and manage only their own domain. Cross-department access is an explicit admin decision, always audited.
Measure, Then Move
Decisions ride on the roadmap, burn, and incident data already in the system — not on the loudest opinion in the room.
Leave An Audit Trail
Every create, update, and delete is logged with who, what, and when. Reversible by design, accountable by default.
